Join us for a field trip in the Maresme region to explore Arenys de Mar, Pineda de Mar, and Malgrat de Mar, towns significantly impacted by the multi-hazard Gloria event. Participants will discover the storm’s effects, the extent of the losses, and the recovery challenges that followed. We will also discuss the strategies and protective measures being implemented to safeguard these coastal areas from future extreme weather events.

The excursion is scheduled to depart from the designated bus stop at the Campus Nord (UPC) on Saturday, October 26th, at 9:30 AM. Participants are kindly requested to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure to ensure a smooth and timely boarding process.
